Volunteer Registration is now CLOSED.
Thank you so much to our volunteers.
In appreciation of your time, a portion of the proceeds
will be donated to local charity.
Volunteer Requirements:
- AGE: All volunteers must be 21 years of age or older at the time of Fest. Photo ID will be checked upon arrival for your shift.
- UNIFORM: Dark or Tan Pants and volunteer shirt (shirt will be provided upon arrival for your shift & must be worn during shift). No logo or ripped apparel please.
- TRAINING: Volunteer Captains in your assigned area will provide on-site training at the start of your shift.
- All positions require standing for the duration of shift. Breaks will be coordinated with Volunteer Captains.
- Tasting by pour volunteers is not encouraged, but allowed conservatively so that you may familiarize yourself with the beers you are pouring. Volunteers are expected to adhere to this I-X Center policy; excessive drinking is prohibited and anyone appearing to overindulge will be removed from their volunteer position and the event.
- Please arrive on time for your shift. Allow ample time to park and check in at the volunteer station.
Volunteer Positions:

Pour Stations: Pouring two ounce samples of beer, restocking ice, emptying dump buckets and ensuring cleanliness of station.
- Programming: Limited number of volunteers neede dto help as greeters, presenter assistants, and with material distribution.
NOTE: Most volunteers are needed for pour stations. I-X Center reserves the right to assign volunteers to pour stations as needed. Volunteer Perks:

ONE SHIFT: Volunteer t-shirt, commemorative tasting cup, free parking during your shift and beverages/snacks.

TWO SHIFTS: All one shift perks (received during initial shift) PLUS one year subscription to DRAFT magazine.

THREE SHIFTS: All perks received during initial two shifts PLUS a 2012 commemorative International Beer Fest keepsake.
For each session you volunteer, you will receive one general admission voucher to be redeemed at the box office for any of the following shows. The voucher will be mailed after the event. Piston Power, October 2012 – I-X Trick or Treat Street October, 2012 - Fabulous Food Show, November 2012 - I-X Christmas Connection, November 2012 and 2013 International Beer Fest.
